Managing Pages

This website has multiple Content Types available in order to provide appropriate fields and details that will help to best organize and build your content.  Details about each Content Type will be provided on the following pages.

 

To start adding a new page of content to your site, you will navigate to Content>Add Content> to choose the type.  The following is a quick synopsis of the relevant usage of each of these types.

Basic Page - This is the heavy lifter for the site, and will be used the most often when you are creating a page with basic information to provide the people who visit your site.

Biography Page - This Content Type should be used when adding information about key employees.  You can provide photos, contact information, and what category of individual they are, Leadership, Press Contact etc.  

Location Page - Anytime you want to add the address of a certain business location to a page, you should enter it into this Content type.  Each referenced location can have as much or as little information as you would like, but it provides the flexibility for you to create, for example, an entire page for the San Francisco office, with full banner image and information about their provided services.

News Item - All News articles should be created on this Content type.  As you add a News Page, and identify its Taxonomy, it can be displayed throughout the site by using a "Views Component".  

Product Page - These pages allow you to highlight specific Product offerings with card and social sharing information that can be displayed as cards throughout the site.  These will link back to the full page of content and details you want to provide your customers.

Webform - The Webform module has been installed so you can create any desired webform to be inserted throughout the site via the Webform component.
