Created Alert Bar Item

New Alert Page

1. Start by filling out the name and selecting an "Alert Style" from the drop-down.

2. Add the body of the text you want the visitor to see. The height of the Alert Bar goes off the length of the text.

3. You can create internal and external CTA links. The CTA button will keep all the text in one row so a long link text as shown in the image on the left may not work well for the desired button size. Read the help text for how to utilize the attributes dropdown.

4. Be sure to check that the dismissible button is active or deactivated as desired. If this option is left deactivated will not see the option at the bottom of the Alert Bar to dismiss the Alert. Once you activate it another switch will appear. This option will force the Alert to show regardless if the Alert has been previously dismissed.

5. Once you have everything input as desired click the save button

You can return to the "Sitewide Alert" page at any time and select the edit button on the right of the chosen Alert to change any aspect you have previously created. Alerts edit page has a tab for revisions if there is a need to roll back the Alert to a previous state.

Be sure to check all help text while filling out an Alert page.
