As part of that commitment, MUFG launched its Green Deposit product in 2021. It is designed to help commercial and corporate clients fund ESG projects, such as renewable energy, including wind, solar, geothermal, and biomass, as well as smart metering.

Our Transaction Banking business helps support ESG efforts for clients across a broad spectrum of industries in a variety of ways, including by providing electronic payments which help reduce the footprint that paper and cash payments have on the environment.
