NEW YORK, NY (February 15, 2022) – Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group ( MUFG ) announced today the closure of its Buenos Aires, Argentina office in 2022, pending regulatory approval.

The decision to close the Buenos Aires location was made in line with one of the key strategies in MUFG’s current medium-term business plan, which includes streamlining office operations and optimizing the allocation of management resources on a global basis. We do not expect any service interruption for our clients.
