Adding a Podcast File to the Media Library
While podcast links can be added through the Media Gallery component in layout builder on any Content Type, you will want to add a new Podcast directly to the Media Library for later use. Navigate to in the Admin menu to Content>Media>Add Media>Podcast. This will add Podcasts to a library where they can be either placed individually on a page as needed or, using the View component, automatically added to the Podcast list page.
On another tab, you will want to navigate to the MUFG Podbean website so you can obtain the correct URL for adding a Podcast item to your Media Library. USE ONLY LINKS FROM THIS PAGE - Drupal will show a Video URL Error if you try to use any podbean link other than the ones copied from this page https://mufgemea.podbean.com/.
You will be required to provide a "Name" for your Podcast making it easier to locate later in the Media Library. You can also add the release date info for the Podcast and optionally the Synopsis of its content. In the last section you will "copy the link address" from Podbean, and paste it in the "Remote Video URL" section. Please see the photo below for instructions on the exact link to copy.
Podcast Modal
When podcasts are clicked on they will open up in the Podbean modal. The background will darken and follow the same format as the video and remote video content.

Examining the sustainability of GCC US dollar pegged exchange rates: The MUFG Global Markets Podcast
The precipitous decline in oil prices this year has led GCC authorities to drawdown on FX reserves, renewing apprehensions surrounding the sustainability of US dollar pegs in the region.
Ehsan Khoman, Head of MENA Research and Strategy, believes that the willingness and capability of GCC policymakers to safeguard US dollar pegs remains intact. He argues that the US dollar pegs serve as an appropriate policy framework and a credible anchor in providing a stabilisation mechanism for inflation and output growth. Given the existing structure of the GCC economies as hydrocarbon exporters – the price of which is in US dollar denominated receipts – a devaluation would have limited impact on GCC export competitiveness, which would quickly be eroded by the higher cost of imports and with it higher inflation.
